The sweet friends in my life....

When I host a big dinner for my friends - especially like the one I did during CIAA - many times my 'regular folk' friends will call or text the next day or the following week to see how everything went. Not only are they interested in what I do for my friends, they genuinely care about me and enjoy seeing me so happy.

I have one neighbor who has been so supportive and encouraging since my very first dinner 8-1/2 years ago. The week following my big lasagna dinner for CIAA, I found an envelope in my mailbox from my sweet friend and neighbor.

It was so thoughtful and unexpected. I will tuck it away in a safe place for the next dinner.  ♥
