#46 on Feedspot!

UPDATE 04/07/21: I check-in about once a year to see if I've fallen completely off the board, and not only am I still on the board, but I was shocked to see that I am now at #28 out of 60. 💙

 Ahem....so how did this happen?

My humble little blog was selected by Feedspot as one of the Top 50 Police Websites and Blogs on the Web!

I came in at #46! Feedspot said they reviewed thousands of police blogs using search and social metrics, so considering that little bit of information, I am amazed that I came in at all!

Like, how did they even find it?

I shared the good news with my best girlfriend while still a little confused how I made the list, and she thinks it might be because I offer a different perspective -- especially these days when the police need more citizen support.    

And I am in excellent company with other websites and blogs who made the list, like:

• The Officer Down Memorial
• PoliceOne
• Law Officer
• POLICE Magazine
• MotorCop
• Defrosting Cold Cases

...just to name a few.
 
Regardless of how they found me, I am honored.

The winning blogs were ranked based on following criteria:

• Google reputation and Google search ranking
• Influence and popularity on  Facebook, Twitter, and other social media sites
• Quality and consistence of posts
• Feedspot's editorial team and expert review

While most police blogs are written by police officers or others in that profession, I am just a working girl who is happiest when I am busy serving my friends behind the badge. Recognition like this is reassuring that I might be making a small difference in this world.  ♥
