Two weeks ago, the 2016 CMPD Annual Report was distributed, and guess who was recognized for her volunteerism with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department? This girl!
I know it's cliché, but everything that happens in your life (good and bad) really DOES happen for a reason. It alters your path in life. It changes the outcome of what might have been if you had taken a different road. The choices I have made in my life, ultimately brought me to Charlotte, and for that I am grateful. I am grateful for this life I live. I am grateful that something bad has turned into something wonderful.
I think everyone has their 'moment in the sun' at least once in their lifetime, and I guess you could say this was mine. Thank you CMPD.
