Super cool way to separate the egg yolks

If you don't read another one of my blog posts ever again, you must watch this.  I just tried it and it worked beautifully!

I can't wait to give a little demonstration at my next AHOP breakfast!  I already have these guys fooled to thinking I can cook -- just wait until they see me do this!  Boy, will they ever be impressed with this new skill that I didn't even know I had until last night.

Make sure your plastic bottle is clean before doing this.  But you already knew that, right?

Thank you to my friend, Kat, for sending me this gem!  It changed my world!

    1. Be prepared to giggle when try it. It's as easy as the video shows. I'm still amazed by it.

    1. Miss Andrea - we miss you! Thank you for watching and leaving a comment. I had another post ready to go last night, but when my friend sent me this, it jumped to the top of the list. I can hardly wait until I make something again that requires only the yolks or the whites.

  3. As a member of the not-really-a-cook cooks club, I cannot wait to impress somebody (anybody!) with this little gem. Hilarious.

I so impressed with your efforts for your PD. You're surely throwing out tons of good karma down there in Charlotte.

    1. Miss Jen - thank you for wandering into my blog tonight and for leaving me such a sweet comment. You put a smile on my tired face after a day of house cleaning, preparing for unexpected (but happy they're coming) company. We're in the same club. The fact that I have a blog even 'remotely' related to cooking cracks me up. But as long as these officers like what I fix and enjoy coming, then I guess I'm on the right track. This egg thing is the coolest! I can't wait to give a little demo at the next breakfast. I ruined a perfectly good egg tonight just so I could try it again. Let me know how your demo goes. :) p.s. I keep entering my reply in the wrong box (sorry if you've gotten this 5 times.) :/
